Wuhan, China is among the "Chinese Famous Cities of History and Culture". Wuhan is the capital of the Hubei province - its city is much modernized with countless possibilities, located at the heart of China. The city, when you visit it, is so full of energy. It is the largest city in Central China comprising of three towns, Hanyang Hankou and Wuchang, which is divided by the Han and the Yangtze River. Three bridges connect the three towns together, the Wuhan Yangtze Bridge being the first one built transversely at the Yangtze River in 1957. Yangtze River is most rich in water energy. Yangtze River Delta is China's most dynamic place. It is roughly comprised of Jiangsu Province, southeast part of Shanghai and northeast part of Zhejiang Province. It was on 1927 when the city was named Wuhan and the three towns namely, Wuchang, Hanyang and Hankou come under one administrative system named Wuhan. This area is generally called Three Gorges area :  Qutang Gorge, Wuxia Gorge, and Xiling Gorge. The world largest water conservancy project, the Three Gorges Dam is located in Xiling Gorge in Yangtze River drainage area.
